1. Visual positioning principle
Image acquisition: The industrial camera in the vision system, in conjunction with a light source, captures images of the workpiece to be glued on the workbench. The function of the light source is to illuminate the surface of the workpiece, ensuring that the camera can capture clear and high contrast images for subsequent analysis and processing.
Image processing: The collected images are transmitted to the control system of the dispensing machine, which analyzes the images using image processing algorithms. Firstly, the workpiece features in the image are compared with pre stored template images or coordinate information to calculate the positional and attitude deviations of the workpiece relative to the dispensing head. For example, by using edge detection algorithms to find the edges of the workpiece, and then matching them with the edges of the template, the translation and rotation angles of the workpiece in the plane can be determined.
2. Glue dispensing control principle
Motion control: Based on the position deviation calculated by the visual system, the control system sends instructions to the motion control system. The servo motor in the motion control system drives the ball screw and linear guide, and the adhesive head with a moving point moves in the X, Y, and Z axis directions, so that the dispensing head reaches directly above the position to be dispensed.
Glue dispensing operation: When the dispensing head reaches a certain position, the control system controls the dispensing system to dispense according to preset dispensing parameters, such as glue volume, dispensing speed, dispensing time, etc. The metering pump or syringe in the dispensing system correctly extrudes the glue from the dispensing head according to instructions and drips it onto a certain position of the workpiece. During the dispensing process, the control system will monitor the dispensing status in real time to ensure the correctness of the dispensing amount and position. If any abnormal dispensing is found, such as insufficient dispensing amount or deviation in dispensing position, adjustments or alarm prompts will be made in a timely manner.
